Without doubt the most beautiful youth hostel in Nuremberg, housed in the former imperial castle stables.

The youth hostel is located in an exceptional building, in the former imperial stables. This exceptional location and its medieval architecture give it an undeniable cachet, combined with modern and comfortable furnishings. More than 90 rooms and no less than 300 beds revisit this fabulous vestige where old stones mingle with modernity. Superb view of the old town from some rooms. Lovely welcome.

Standorte sehr schön mitten in Nürnberg. Aber die Zimmer sind sehr, sehr, sehr hellhörig. Ich konnte die ganze Nacht kein Auge zumachen. Gegen das poltern halfen leider auch keine Ohrstöpsel. Daher gar nicht zu empfehlen.

Die Jugendherberge hat uns als Familie super gefallen. Es gibt guten Kaffee, frisches Obst und leckeres Müsli und Brötchen zum Frühstück. Das Abendessen war auch lecker, man kann sich einen tollen Salatteller zusammenstellen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Zimmer sauber, was will man mehr?Achja, für die Kleinen gibt es eine Auswahl an Kinderbüchern zum Ausleihen! Von den Fenstern im 7. Stock hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt, also mal mit dem Aufzug ganz hoch fahren :-) Man kommt zu Fuß schnell in die Innenstadt und hat eine Auswahl an guten Gaststätten in direkter Nähe. Es gibt zwar keinen Parkplatz für Gäste, aber man kann zum Ausladen direkt vor der Tür Halten und dann z.B. ins Parkhaus fahren um die Ecke. Alles in Allem zu empfehlen.
