The Glasmuseum in Passau has the largest collection of European glass and crystal objects in the world.

This glass museum contains over 30,000 glass and crystal pieces dating from the mid-17th to the mid-20th century. It is the largest collection of European glass in the world. The museum is housed in a historic complex that also includes the Hotel Wilder Mann. The collection is arranged by era, from 1650 to 1950. Some of the pieces decorate royal residences, while others feature nineteenth-century art nouveau. Empress Sissi, who stayed here in 1862, is just one of the many distinguished guests the establishment has welcomed.
