The Renaissance monastery is a place that attracts pilgrims and visitors who want to enjoy the beautiful view of Passau.

This Renaissance style monastery was built in 1627. Today, it is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in Bavaria. Once at the top, the view is sumptuous and the entire city of Passau reveals itself in a new, most beautiful and majestic corner. To access it, pilgrims must climb the 321 steps. For the little story, the custom wants, that at every gravie walk, a "I salute Mary" be recited!
