Landshut's old town boasts beautiful, colourful facades with triangular gables.

The old town of Landshut is full of beautiful triangular gabled houses from the Middle Ages and the Baroque period. As you stroll along, you are struck by the overall harmony of these facades, which are all different in terms of volume, color and ornamentation. The baroque, in its constructive jubilation, respects with great skill the norms defined by the gothic. Since 1998, the Altstadt of Landshut has been a pedestrian zone, popular with strollers and window shoppers.
