The youth hostel is located in the heart of the city and surrounded by an enormous playing field. It is an ideal base for sports activities, conferences and events of every kind.
The Ottonianum is a former bourgeois palace and boarding school, now home to Landshut Youth Hostel. Its location is excellent, close to both the Old Town and the Trausnitz fortress. The hostel's 98 beds are divided into rooms with one to eight beds, some of which are wheelchair-accessible. In the courtyard, you can play table tennis, volleyball and badminton. There's also a small recreation room.

Leider ist das WLAN nicht sehr gut deswegen nur 4 sterne
My most valuable impression, however, was obtained from absolutely ghastly food served here. I don't know whether the hotel actually pays a cook or asks someone's 11 years old child to quickly whip up some fake food out of nowhere, but all this was barely possible to eat. Considering the fact each meal costs around 7,90€, I find that rather outrageous. I'd wholeheartedly recommend to the management to reconsider their attitude towards what people are supposed to eat.
