A museum dedicated to the history of the city and the region.
This historical museum covers a very broad period, from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. Three main themes in the museum: the Upper Palatinate in prehistory (archaeological collection), the Roman legionary camp Castrina Regina as part of the Limes, and Regensburg in the Middle Ages. The museum also houses a collection of art objects from the 19th and 20th centuries, including numerous sculptures and paintings.

un musée assez petit avec des tableaux en allemand seulement
L'entrée coûte 5 euros. Le café interne propose une pizza décente que je recommande. La première partie est liée à l'histoire romaine avec une salle pour la préhistoire. Puis on passe au Moyen Âge qui commence du rez-de-chaussée et jusqu'au XVIe siècle au deuxième étage avec la salle des tapisseries qui est pour moi la plus belle chose du musée.
