The Wurstkuchl is a historical canteen of the former salt workers and is a real institution in Regensburg for eating the famous little sausages, the speciality of the house. It is a small, picturesque restaurant on the banks of the Danube, next to the bridge, or a larger restaurant with a more varied menu in the former salt store, next to the bridge. To accompany your sausages: a good sauerkraut and a beer of course! Very busy and popular place, but no need to book. Take-away options also available.
