A 70 metre high gorge, open in summer and winter. A must-see during a stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Unlike other gorges, the Partnachklamm is open to the public in summer and winter. Declared a natural monument in 1912 and developed for tourism since then, this 80-metre high and 700-metre long gorge is a must-see during a stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen: the walk along the cliff 5 metres from the fiery Partnach is truly fantastic. It takes a good 20 minutes to explore the gorge.
