Ideal hotel for bikers and hikers, offering traditional rooms with comfortable beds.

This hotel owes its reputation to its exceptional location: situated on a mountainside, the Berggasthof offers breathtaking views of Garmisch and the surrounding region. It is not a luxury hotel, however, as it has few facilities and no room service. It is, however, an ideal place for bikers and hikers. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms traditional. Breakfast is very good, but at an extra cost.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Kleines gemütliches Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstück grandios, Personal super nett und der Ausblick einfach einmalig schön.

Traumhaft gelegenes, feines Hotel, das mit einem riesigen Frühstücksbuffet aufwartet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Hatten das Zimmer 4 mit traumhaftem Sonnenuntergangsblick vom Balkon auf die Berge. Vom Hotel aus kann man direkt zu tollen Wanderungen aufbrechen. Ein Betrieb mit Herz geführt

Nice family run hotel with an amazing view! The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was OK. It can be a bit noisy when people are going into their rooms late in the night.
Please, have in mind that the hotel is located in a steep road. If you don’t have a car, it might be exhausting getting to the hotel after a day of hiking or skying.
