The Vaches Noires are classified as a site of landscape and scientific interest for their fossil deposits.
Exceptional heritage facing the sea, the Black Cows are classified as being of landscape and scientific interest for their fossiliferous deposit. This name comes from the shape of the rocks covered with algae which, seen from the sea, make one think of cows at the foot of the cliffs. Beware, the site is only accessible from the beach at low tide. The tourist office of Villers organises geological walks with the initiation to the collection of fossils, you are sure to bring back a "treasure"!

On y accède qu'à marée basse mais cela vaut le coup d'attendre ! c'est un paysage hors du commun. De plus sous le soleil, c'était fabuleux.
