Panels on the history of the mills and the district provide a better understanding of the industrial heritage of the Dives.

In 2020, the historic Tanneries district showed a whole new face. Restoration work has totally transformed this area, which is now pleasantly laid out: the Dives canal has been cleaned, the roof of the washhouse restored, and the paddle wheels, the last remnants of the tannery mills, have been renovated. As is the case for the abbey, panels on the history of the mills and the district provide a better understanding of the industrial heritage of the Dives, and help to enhance this former tannery district, with its charm of yesteryear regained.
