CASA DE CULTURA

Born in 1978, the House of Culture of Maputo, nestled in a beautiful building of colonial architecture, has been promoting for more than forty years a culture of valuing national identity. This centre, open to all, organizes music and dance classes, and part of the building is rented to the National Song and Dance Company. Festivals, gastronomy, theatre, fashion shows, concerts, artists' exhibitions... It is a real place of culture, where it is even possible to buy handicrafts in the entrance hall.
