This mosque, the largest in Maputo, is also the oldest, dating from around 1800. It is unmissable with its imposing white walls loaded with beautiful stucco contrasted in yellow chick. Its magnificent green-water dome dominates the building and seems to respond to the small identical dome of its minaret that rises towards the sky. It is not possible to visit it, except if you are a Muslim and you come to pray. You can only look at it from the outside and walk around it to admire the beautiful details of its façade.
