Next to the Tunduru Botanical Garden, 1109 Guest House is well placed. Its rooftop terraces offer a beautiful view of Maputo from above. The highest one is set up as a solarium, where you can enjoy the sun. Wooden tables and comfortable sofas invite you to relax around the pool. Rooms for solo travelers, beautiful suites for couples or apartments for families who want more independence. The whole place is a bit impersonal but pleasant, nevertheless the prices have inflated lately.

Best accommodation I have experienced in Maputo so far, will definitely come back! Very nice staff, this guesthouse is safe and beautifully decorated. Spacious room with an extra large bed, dressing and bathroom. Loved the breakfast and the pool/honesty bar area. Walking distance to Maputo shopping center and various restaurants.

J'adore mon ami Nuno Tavares et la maison d'hôtes de Cátia... Quand j'y séjourne, je me sens chez moi ????... Le personnel est comme des membres de la famille. Le petit déjeuner est bon et plus que suffisant sans aucun luxe. L'emplacement est le meilleur de Maputo. Je recommande. Kanimambo Nuno????????????????
