Spitz et Fils is a winery located in the village of Blienschwiller, on the Alsace Wine Route. With a long tradition of winegrowing dating back to the 16th century, the Spitz family has been farming in the region for several generations. The estate offers a wide range of wines, marketed in bottles since the 1960s. Environmentally aware, Spitz et Fils have obtained H.V.E (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification in 2019 and are in the process of converting to organic farming. Short distribution channels are favored, with over 90% of sales made directly to private customers. Wines can be purchased at the estate cellar or at specialized wine fairs, and some products are also available from partner wine merchants. The estate also offers bed and breakfast accommodation for visitors. Located close to tourist attractions such as Haut Koenigsbourg, Mont Ste Odile and Christmas markets, Spitz et Fils is a must for wine lovers in Alsace.
