The philosophy of Scubateam Cabo Verde is to dive in small groups in order to discover the most beautiful sites of the island without frightening the fauna; being careful never to make the same dive twice.

The dives in the archipelago can be "sporty" that's why we don't hesitate to change sites if the security is not optimal, depending on the level of the divers.

In this sense we group the outings by groups of divers of comparable levels and differentiate the outings according to the levels. The center is located on the beach, 50 meters from the Morabeza Hotel and 30 meters from the pier of Sta. Maria bay. Ideal position for departures to the dive sites. We visit 19 different sites, from 11m to 45m. Dry docks, caves, overhangs, wrecks, each site having its own characteristics; different dives will be proposed to you at each outing depending on the ocean conditions. First departure at 8:30 am and second departure at 2:00 pm (a dive can be scheduled at 10:30 am upon reservation).

There is no decompression chamber in Cape Verde, that is why we prefer to leave a few hours between two dives for experienced divers. Equipment : BEUCHAT Center 20 complete equipments 40 tanks 12 Liters steel ( Din and Int) 2 compressors Bauer : 36 m3 and 14 m3 1 Boston Whaler (Yamaha 150cv) for 10 divers ( groups) and 1 Lomac (Yamaha 90cv) for 6 divers. Languages : French, English, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and Creole. Staff : 2 Padi & EFR Instructors, 1 Cmas Instructor, 2 Dive master Padi and N4, 2 sailors.

All the staff is EFR qualified (first aid) with a revision every 2 years. We are insured in civil liability by the company IMPAR. We can use the infirmary of the Morabeza hotel and a nurse and a doctor can be called upon. We can also direct first aid to a private clinic 24 hours a day
