Nothing to do with the German philosopher. Leibnitz in Austria, 12 km from the Slovenian border, and 33 km south of Graz, is bordered on one side by the river Sulm, on the other by the river Mur. It is a wine capital and a kind of Styrian Sundgau, between vineyards and cultivated fields. The town has a small industrial area and a charming and quite lively centre. You can plan a stopover to discover it, it will seduce you. You will find good restaurants, various accommodations and you can visit several wine cellars in the vicinity which rival in quality. All in all, a perfect destination for a little hedonistic stay
