Read moreThe renovated Casino Zögernitz houses the Strauss House, a museum dedicated to the master of the waltz, as well as concerts and a bar-restaurant. So there's more than one reason to pay tribute to the musician and listen to works by Johannes Strauss and his dynasty, whose 200th birthday Vienna celebrates in 2025. In the concert halls, the Strauss family and many other musicians and composers performed in the 19th century. Michelin-starred chef Stefan Glantschniga serves fine Viennese cuisine at the Casino Kulirtium.

Read moreThe new Prater Museum opened on March 15, 2024. Located next to the Giant Ferris Wheel, the museum traces the colorful history of the Prater's first amusement park. Discover rides with puppet characters, the first slot machines and the history of the site with plans, models, photos, tickets, programs and posters. After opening in 1766, this small town of attractions, curiosity shops and restaurants grew and prospered well into the 20th century, before being definitively destroyed during the Second World War.
