Vienna's main market, both bohemian and touristy, is an attraction in itself. It stretches along the^5th and ^6th districts for several hundred meters, lined with Art Nouveau and neoclassical buildings. It itself houses halls and metro stations designed by Otto Wagner... There are stalls selling fruit and vegetables, oriental and Slavic products, and places to eat and drink. Stroll around all day, enjoy breakfast, a snack or an aperitif... Saturday flea market with beautiful vintage items.

Très chouette endroit où il y a une bonne ambiance (et beaucoup de monde) le soir. Vous y trouverez toutes sortes de kiosques et restaurants où manger (la cuisine israélienne de Neni est délicieuse!)

Superbe marché où l'on peut trouver beaucoup d'épices. J'y suis allée le samedi très tôt pour pouvoir jeter un coup au marché aux puces. La promenade matinale est très agréable.

Choisir le samedi pour y aller. Il y aura les puces en même temps que le marché. Pour ce qui est du marché, j'en profite pour acheter des fruits, du miel, du thé et si je suis au début de mon séjour, des fleurs. Il y a une odeur d'épices qui flotte dans l'air, cela donne l'impression de se retrouver dans une contrée exotique.
Pour les puces, j'y cherche toujours de la porcelaine Augarten avec le motif Wiener Rose. En général avec succès. Vous pourriez bien y dénicher une trouvaille inusitée. Ce qui est certain, c'est que l'atmosphère qui y règne est très agragréable.
