Das bisher bescheidenste Hotel auf meiner Reise auf Island.
Die Zimmer sind leider etwas in die Jahre gekomme, durch die Fenster zieht es und vom Badezimmer will ich erst gar nicht anfangen.
Jedoch ist das Frühstück toll und die Besitzer sehr nett. Von hier aus, kann man tolle Tagestouren starten und Akueryri ist 10 min entfernt.

Een heel gemoedelijke herberg met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. De eigenaar regelde een taart voor een jarige in ons gezelschap en bood aan om traditioneel voor ons te koken, nadat we gevraagd hadden waar we traditioneel ijslands konden eten. Hij gaf uitleg over het eten en had zelfs het toetje gemaakt dat zijn moeder vroeger serveerde op feestdagen!

Gorgeous location with an amazing view, especially from the hot tub :)
The staff was very welcoming and kind, and provided excellent service. I would definitely come back here, if I ever have the chance!!
For the dog lovers among us, there are two beautiful and very friendly dogs on the terrain outside at times. However, they will not bother you at all, if you don't want them to.

This place is horrible. Outside it stank like cow poo, inside it smelled like (not a good) restaurant, heating wasn't working and I could hear mice running in the ceiling. Furniture is old, sockets aren't at reasonable places. The room generally feels like a repurposed office rather than a hotel room and there was a lot of old office furniture next to the room just clattered. There was a room full of rubbish (old mattresses, sofas etc) within our room, not even locked and there was a whiteboard in the room. Certainly wouldn't stay here again and I'm glad we left after 1 night.

Checked in today, really nice and clean rooms, friendly staff and just came from hot tub, it was great having to sit in hot tub while enjoying the mountains. 5 stars

The Inn needs a renovation, it looks like they tried to do a DIY in the room but failed. We unfortunately were booked here through our tour operator but will inform him that this is not the place to put people until they do proper updates. The mattress was horrible. The Inn is about 10 minutes from the center. This city is so charming with all the places available to choose from if you have a choice I would choose another.

Il cibo al ristorante è davvero buonissimo!!! Forse la migliore cena in 7 giorni di Islanda ! Il personale è gentilissimo... purtroppo un voto un po basso alla camera perché l'acqua della doccia diventava calda e fredda ogni 5-10 secondi ...e la cosa era un po fastidiosa. Per il resto comunque bel posto, fuori c'è anche una vasca di acqua calda e tante caprette che si fanno avvicinare!

Nuestra cena estuvo muy bien, las chuletas de cordero rebozadas buenísimas y la trucha ártica tambien.
Desayuno no es muy variado, pero tienen lonchas de cordero y embutido que está muy rico. Lo mejor el Skyr que hacen ellos mismos( tipo queso/yogur) que presentan en copas con granola y creo que algo de caramelo, si pones mermelada de naranja esta buenísimo.
Desayuno le pondría más fruta
Las habitaciones cuádruples son básicas y muy grandes.

Good location to stay on the road. The building is outdated, the room (#14) smelled a bit but we couldn't open the window due to flies and absence of insect screen. Also, one sun blocking curtain was missing. The walls and roof/floor are paper-thin, so we could hear "stamping" from the guests above, and were woken up in the middle of the night by a baby crying. Breakfast is simple. The staff could be a lot friendlier. The nicest part were the sheep and (neighbour?) cats. Those were friendly.

Bevor es wieder Richtung Süden ging, gab es hier noch einen kurzen Zwischenstopp. Die großen Zimmer liegen, wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, in einem alten Stall. Das Bad war nicht mehr ganz auf der Höhe, die Dusche tropfte und der Duschvorhang war noch nass vom letzten Gast und hinterließ eine Pfütze vor dem Waschbecken.
Da sich die Zimmer unterhalb der Rezeption befinden, musste die großen Koffer eine hohe Treppe hinuntergetragen werden. Ein kurzer Hinweis des Personals, dass es unten einen zweiten Eingang gibt und dieser mit dem PKW zu erreichen ist, hättet dieses Problem aus der Welt geschafft.
Dafür entschädigte der Hot-Pot.
Das Abendessen war hervorragend, der Preis angemessen. Das Frühstück jedoch nicht. Die Auswahl war nicht besonders reichhaltig, der Kaffee oft vergriffen, was bestimmt auch an den Gästen lag, die sich ihre Thermoskannen füllten und dann habe ich ein Brot erwischt, das vom Geschmack her modrig schmeckte. Ob hier jetzt spezielle Gewürze die Ursache waren oder doch etwas anders konnte und wollte ich nicht eruieren.

המקלחת מעט בעייתית במובן שטמפרטורת המים משתנה לסירוגין במהלך המקלחת. חם יותר- חם פחות. למי שאינו שותה חלב רגיל אין תחליפים. המקום היחיד שלא היה בו משקה חלופי לחלב הרגיל.

The building and the room feels quite old. No ventilator in the toilet. The good side is its right next to a small sheep farm and there's a great valley view from the room. Breakfast is extremely simple and basic. I've never met anyone from the hotel during check in and check out. 10 mins drive from Akureyri. It's worth saying if you don't have high requirements on facilities.

WOW!!! What a place to stay! I was in town for 5 day for a curling bonspiel. I really can't think of a better schedule than to wake up looking at the fjord and the mountains, having a fantastic breakfast, petting some sheep and dogs, competing at the nearby ice arena, and repeating the the same the next day. The patriarch of the inn, Johannes, is a warm and welcoming inn keeper while the dynamic duo of Luna and Igor are some of the most amazing caretakers you could ever ask for. I know I will be back to Iceland and I will be back to Lamb Inn. Such an amazing place to call home if even for a moment!

Awesome staying!
Beautiful place, with great location. Not that near and also not that far from town.
Our host was very attentive and gave us great tips about Iceland itself, about Akureyri and about the snowstorm that was coming!
We had to leaver a day earlier because of the snowstorm, but it was a great staying either way.

- Las habitaciones son austeras y muy pequeñas.
- El sanitario era muy incómodo, la taza no tenía un olor agradable y la cortina de la regadera tenía mal olor.
- Tienen wifi con buena señal.
- Aceptan tarjetas de crédito y débito como método de pago adicional al efectivo.
- Si tienes movilidad reducida y/o vas en silla de ruedas, te comento que el acceso y movilidad dentro del lugar es de dificultad alta.
- No hay elevador.
- La ropa de cama no estaba limpia. La colcha tenía manchas de suciedad. (Te comparto fotografías).
- Al hotel en general le faltaba orden y limpieza.
- La atención fue regular. Llegué un Miércoles alrededor de las 8:30 p.m. y nadie estaba en la recepción, tuve que llamar al hotel estando en el hotel para registrarme, contestaron el teléfono y solo dijeron que en el mostrador había una lista con los nombres de los huéspedes y los números de habitación designados a cada uno, que me fijara en la lista y tomara la llave correspondiente, (Había una hoja en la recepción explicando lo anterior y otros temas). Al día siguiente que hice el check out, estaba un señor que cobró la habitación y se fue inmediatamente.
- El estacionamiento es gratuito y de tamaño mediano.
- No cuentan con valet parking ni botones.
- El buffet de desayuno era limitado.
