This whale watching centre is the best all over Iceland. We had a bad luck for not seeing the whales throughout our trip but the staff out their were very polite. Despite being so windy on the day of our tour and despite no spotting of whale we had a blast in the boat. The boat wasn’t so big but it was fun. They were courteous enough to provide a complimentary ticket because we couldn’t spot the whales.

It was a phenomenal experience! The crew was amazing and knowledgeable about everything that we were seeing and of the area. We saw 2 humpback whales, one that went breached, and porpoises. Highly recommend!

Whale watching company in Akureyri, Iceland. March isn't the best time to go whale watching but we did manage numerous sightings of a humpback whale.
The guide was really good, he English was pretty damn good and she kept up a near constant flow of information.
Below decks there are toilet facilities and a bar serving hot and cold drinks. I had a rather delicious hot chocolate.
Would recommend them and if I go back in the summer, I will definitely take another trip.

We had a great time with Elding whale watching crew. We went from Akureyri on 2 march. We saw two Humpbacks. We saw the tale and breaching near the boat, what a great noise.

Op 6 maart hadden we een toer met een enthousiaste gids die veel informatie vertelde. Twee bultruggen en een groep bruinvissen gezien. Was voor ons zeker geslaagd!

It was an excellent tour. Well organised. Great and interesting information. We were lucky and saw a humpback whale very often. The weather was marvellous. A successful tour. Thank you very much. We would love to do it again.

It was freaky cold, but we saw whales and the guides made a perfect job: funny and interesting storys combined with good facts

Super kunnen genieten van deze leuke tocht, de uitleg die we tijdens het varen kregen en natuurlijk de walvissen en dolfijn die we zagen! Ook tof dat er gratis koffie en thee aan boord was en dat er ook foto's door een fotograaf van de boot organisatie gemaakt werden.

Schöne Tour mit dem Speedboot zur Walbeobachtung für alle, denen die etwas ruckelige Fahrt über die Wellen Spaß macht. Schön ist auch der kleine Zwischenstopp auf der Rückfahrt am heißen Wasserfall.

Excellent trip. We saw two humpback whales, one really close and another at distance. Very well organised and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend.

Wow what a fabulous experience we had. We saw two humpback whales. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this trip and remember to wrap up warm

Wonderful experience! My doughter (6) was really excited and so we were to. We were accompanied by 2 humpback whales, in the end they came quite close to the ship so we can see how big and beautiful they are. Great boat ride through the fjord. It was cold, but with all this beauty you forget about that.
The tour guide was excellent and offered a lot of information about the surrounding areas, whales and other wild life. And they also sent us photos from the trip (thank you Bára!!!).
If you are in the area that is a must!

I saw a lot of tourists today. they are very lucky. the whales were close. Probably the photos of the ship will be beautiful! I stood on the pier and filmed them from afar.

Absolutely amazing, the whole trip was amazing. Despite the cold our guide was one of the best guides I’ve had on any form of excursion with a pure passion. Would recommend to anyone!!

Genuinely one of the most amazing things I've experienced. The crew were great and the guide incredible. Started to have sightings within minutes and again on the way back to harbour. Could not recommend enough

I joined the whale watching tour on January 14th, 2024, and it was my second time with Elding WWA. We were so lucky to see 2 humpback whales together.
The crew was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
I felt safe throughout the trip.
We could borrow overalls to keep us warm and get a hot drink.
They offered to share the pictures with us of the whales they took during the tour.
A very satisfying experience.

Absolute Empfehlung! Der Guide erzählt viel über die Wale und es werden professionelle Fotos von den Walen und der Umgebung gemacht, mit der eine Handykamera nicht mithalten kann. Man kann also komplett das Erlebnis genießen ohne sich Gedanken machen zu müssen, dass man Erinnerungen per Foto festhalten muss.
Man kann sich an Board auch Anzüge gegen die Kälte ausleihen, im Preis inbegriffen.
Der Guide ist sehr freundlich und gesprächig.

Hemos hecho la excursión con ellos este viernes y 100% recomendable. Vimos gran cantidad de ballenas jorobadas, el guia muy atento nos explicó todo. Luego nos llevaron a ver una cascada de agua termal que desembocaba en el mar. Muchas gracias por la experiencia !!

Ik kan deze tour oprecht aanbevelen.
Ze hebben duidelijk het welzijn van de dieren hof in het vaandel staan. Zo gebruiken ze geen sonar en zetten de motor uit, waardoor de walvissen zich veilig voelen en juist zelf naar je toekomen in plaats van naar hen, waardoor ze zich opgejaagd kunnen voelen.
Dank daarvoor.
Een prachtige belevenis.
