After a whale-watching trip at sea, there's nothing quite like a meal in a house steeped in history, right by the harbor. Gamli Baukur ("the old box") has been part of the local heritage for over 150 years. The restaurant is a replica of a house built in 1943 and destroyed by fire in 1960. On the menu: comforting soups, generous burgers and tasty fish dishes. Prices are a little high, but remain reasonable. In the evening, the place also attracts locals, who come for a drink in a friendly atmosphere.
