My favourite thermal pool in Iceland. It’s like any other, but very modern and clean. What sets it apart is the stunning elevated view across the bay to the mountains - bad luck if you don’t have good weather. It’s also a modest size, so probably gets quite crowded at popular times.
The views over the fjord are amazing, the salty water is perfect with the different temperatures depending on where you are.
One of the best facilities I've been to - and I've been to quite a few Icelandic spa/lagoons. Watching the sea from the circular pools is ... Something. It's especially relaxing.
Agree with one of the previous comments though : on a very windy day it might not be sheltered enough.
I would definitely return there, but it's a bit remote... So it will probably remain just a wonderful memory.
Fantastic experience. It was a little crowded when I arrived at 5:30 pm, but by sunset, practically everyone had left. So we were able to relax and spend some quiet time with nature. The shower gels and conditioner were high-quality and smelled fantastic! The sauna is also highly recommended.
Gorgeous modern sea water hot spa. Sit in the hot infinity pool staring out at the sea. One of my favourite places in the world. Cannot recommend highly enough.
This was my second favorite springs in the country (it was my partner's favorite). The views are absolutely incredible. The infinity pool sits right on the side of a cliff overlooking a fjord. These baths are relatively small compared to some of the areas, but they feel more intimate somehow. Husavik is on the arctic circle, so here is a great opportunity to see the northern lights if you are at the baths late. The sea water in the pool feels great, and is a bit of a different experience than the other freshwater pools in the country.
Unfortunately, we used this lagoon in March, with a terrible cold wind...
So we didn't really enjoy the place as we should.
Expensive activity, and drinks.
This experience is truly beyond words. The views were breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to witness the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis while relaxing in the pool. The staff's exceptional friendliness further enhanced our stay. We express our sincere gratitude for this wonderful experience.
I really enjoyed this experience and I'm calling it an experience rather than a visit. It's not the biggest in terms of pool area but the views are the very best in Iceland from a pool in my opinion. We visited in February and it was bracing to say the least but kind of made the vibe even better as you battled against the freezing gale force wind just to get to the pool. However, I would advise, particularly if you're like me and a little short of hair on top, to wear a hat in those conditions. I was extremely glad of it!
This was a true Icelandic experience! Me and my partner went for an external oceanview hot bath for the first time and it was amazing! We really enjoyed having a sunset view to the ocean and the mountains.
This was a much needed rest spot after days of driving and hiking. Although it was windy we enjoyed it immensely. The views are awesome. Welcoming, exceptionally clean, total relaxation. Photo deleted - google says in appropriate nudity - haha was wearing bathing suit as is required. Would highly recommend visiting this Sea Bath.
What a place! The tourists can have the Blue Lagoon to themselves, this is the place for us. Great welcoming service at the reception, very neat and clean changing rooms and everything brand new. Pools split in different temperatures and we were lucky enough to be there when it was snowing which made it even more magical. If you are in the north do not miss out on this one!
Great place. However, we missed some moisturising cream after showers. In other places we have been to there was also a place to dry our swimsuits , which was lacking here. All in all, a great experience, though
Amazing experience! The staff was super friendly and professional! The building is very modern and comfortable. You can get a 10% discount if you go to the north watching whale whatching experience first. The locked rooms are amazing and super safe and clean. There are several pools with different temperature and one connected to the bar. Great place to see Northern lights.
My visit to Husavik coincided with some of the worst weather we had seen in Iceland. Therefor a visit to GeoSea was a must. The facility is very new and modern and there are 2 main pools plus a smaller "hot tub" area which is connected to the bar. The two pools are different temperatures with one being ~40ºC and the other ~30ºC. The water in the hot pool was clean and clear and extremely relaxing. There are certain points in the pool where the hot water is injected and you will need to be aware that the new water is VERY hot and can get uncomfortable if your too close.

Klare Empfehlung.
Any time spent at GeoSea is time well spent.
