Brunnholl farmhouse with a slatted terrace, rooms with private bathroom, living room

Brunnhóll Farm is a modern 30-cow farm that has retained its adjoining old church. Accommodation in a separate building. Most rooms have private bathrooms. Cooking facilities are available on site. The communal living room has large bay windows opening onto a slatted terrace and fields where sheep graze. Books, crayons and toys for children. Breakfast service (the lady of the house is renowned for her delicious crêpes) and dinner to order.

Rooms is not luxury, hotel is not shiny, but we watched northern lights here ???? breakfast is good ???? floor in rooms was amazing ????

A horrible guesthuse in a beautiful location. I don't know if it is worst the food (very poor in taste and quantity, but kinda expensive) or the rooms (bad smell) or the staff that love parting untill 2 o'clock in the morning...
So... better to avoid this place

Accueil pour le check in pro et efficace. Et voilà le point positif. Excessivement cher (300 e pour une nuit dans une chambre minable avec des lits jumeaux).Une des rares chambres sale de notre sejour (avec des moutons.. sous les lits), mal isolée donc bruyante, moche, vielle, équipée a minima avec des matériaux bons marché défraîchis, tout sent l économie. C est sans doute un des rares lieux d Islande où on vous demande de ne pas prendre trop d eau chaude pour que tout le monde puisse en avoir (véridique, cf affiches dans la salle de bain.).
N espérez pas avoir la télé a ce prix la... Quand au "dîner". Le pire de notre séjour dans une salle a manger façon epahd bon marché mais au prix islandais haut de fourchette : le choix est difficile entre un hamburger industriel rachitique mal réchauffé, des soupes en briques (ou en poudre ?) qui croûtent a force s être maintenues a température. Bonne nouvelle : les croûtons de pain sont inclus dans le prix. Mais attention a ne pas en reprendre, sinon vous aurez probablement droit a une remarque désobligeante. Vraiment, Sauf a ne plus avoir aucune chambre ailleurs comme ce fut notre cas : Fuyez ! Ou prévoyez un sandwich et dormez dans votre voiture ce que nous ferions si nous avions su. Maintenant, vous, vous savez.
