Three-star hotel with a breathtaking view of Iceland's highest mountain, located off Route 1.
Without being exceptional, this 3 star hotel located in a white building with rooms all equipped with bathroom remains a good address. On the spot, a restaurant to enjoy after a day. It is also very well located to explore the surrounding glaciers and only 800 m from the Svínafellsjökull glacier arm, sheltered by a moraine. The hotel has a breathtaking view of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnukur, and Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull. The hotel is located on the edge of Route 1, a few kilometres from Skaftafell.

Les chambres de cet hôtel, qui propose même un vrai restaurant pour le dîner (si vous voyagez depuis un moment, vous comprendrez certainement la surprise ????), étaient très petites et les matelas étaient vraiment très moelleux. La salle de bain avait l'air vraiment neuve et moderne par rapport à la chambre - le reste pas tellement.
Le personnel était (comme presque partout lors de notre tournée) vraiment sympathique, gentil et serviable.
Le petit déjeuner était correct, mais vu la taille de l'hôtel, c'était presque un peu monotone.
