Amazing hotel in the heart of south Iceland, we stayed for several days and used it as a base for day trips, we saw waterfalls, the sneaker waves, went wild swimming in the middle of nowhere, did a glacier hike, walked around Vik and went to the local pool. There are restaurants and fuel stations locally. The hotel is spacious, family rooms where just what we needed, lovely showers, great breakfast and a small gym. There is a communal bar area to sit in the evening and ample parking spaces.

El hotel es muy bonito! Pero pide habitación en el edificio principal!!
Nos quedamos 2 veces en días diferentes. La
Primera noche nos tocó una habitación súper bonita, amplia y con todo lo necesario, pero cuando regresamos nos dieron una habitación en una ampliación del hotel y la habitación súper básica, no había secadora, mucho más pequeña, cuando te bañas se sale el agua de la regadera.

I have no idea how this place is only a 3 star hotel. It was a great stay. The common areas are spacious and nice, as are the rooms. The breakfast buffet was great as well. Large selection and good taste. They even have smoked trout as an option. Highly recommend staying here.
