A beautiful waterfall, a truly magical place, with a chasm covered with moss, and the beautiful Gljufurarfos

This beautiful waterfall plunges to a sheer drop of over 65 metres, and has the unusual feature of allowing visitors to pass behind it, admiring several different viewpoints. But beware: it's easy to get wet or even soaked, and the terrain can be slippery! In fine weather, a rainbow rises up in front of the waterfall. Don't hesitate to take the path to the campsite, as it's behind this grassy area that the superb Gljufurarfos cascades into a moss-covered chasm. A truly magical place, especially in the off-season.

Chute d'eau qui a la particularité que l'on peut passer derrière. Et on beaucoup éclaboussé mais cela en vaut la peine ! Par contre, n'imaginez pas que vous pourrez prendre d'excellentes photos de derrière tellement il y a d'éclaboussures. En tout cas pour ma part je n'ai pas réussi.

C'est une très belle chute d'eau de plus de 65 mètres de haut, avec un sentier qui permet de faire une boucle et passer derrière la chute. Embruns garanties et sol glissant! Bonnes chaussures et Kway nécessaires!

Cascade magnifique visible depuis la route mais il faut s'y arrêter ! Arrivé au pied, nous avons la possibilité de passer derrière ! Très impressionnant pour les petits et les grands. L'eau provoque un grondement sourd et arrose les courageux qui emprunte le petit sentier contre la falaise. A faire absolument !

Très belle chute d'eau de 65 mètres de haut, avec pour originalité de pouvoir passer derrière celle-ci.
Un sentier permet de faire une boucle avec différents point de vue, pas forcement facile avec les embruns et un passage escarpé sur un sol glissant.
