The Eyjafjallajokull with a heavy and luminous glacial mass, ideal to take advantage of a slope less exposed to the sun

This is the famous volcano with the unpronounceable name whose eruption disrupted international airspace for several months in 2010. Even if it can only be seen partially and intermittently, the heavy and luminous glacial mass of Eyjafjallajökull is omnipresent as you progress towards Þórsmörk. Taking advantage of a slope less exposed to the sun, one of the glacier tongues, long and steep, goes down to the track. Ne vaut pas le détour. Il est intéressant de s'y arrêté uniquement car ce lieu est à l'origine du blocage aérien de 2010. A part ça, je ne l'ai pas trouvé intéressant.
