Landmannahellir hut is privately owned by individuals with common grazing rights in the area. Several cottages accommodate travelers in dormitories, with cooking facilities. There's also a campsite next door, with toilets and showers. The cabin to the east of Stóri-Kýllingur is also privately owned. This site is not far from the F 225, some 20 km from Landmannalaugar. Please note: parking at the campsite is subject to a charge, so it's best to park further away.
