Geysir site with impressive geothermal phenomena, with waters rising to a height of a few meters

The Geysir site is a geothermal zone famous for Strokkur, a geyser that spurts out on average every 5 minutes, its blue water rising to a height of 25-30 m. Next door is Geysir, from which the site takes its name, and which is now inactive, although it is exceptionally activated during major earthquakes. A little higher up are the communicating basins of Blesi, the "flame". Stay on the right side of the road! Don't miss the hike to the top of the site.

A voir absolument pour le côté unique, même si j'ai été un peu déçue. Je pense que je m'en étais fait une idée idéalisée, du coup l'attente entre chaque geyser, et manque d'intérêt du reste du site m'a déçue...

Super site! J'y suis allée seulement pour le geyser et je n'est pas fait le parc, mais c'est tout à fait splendide. La bulle bleue qui se forme avant le jet est magique.

Site impressionnant où la géothermie de la Terre s'exprime. De nombreux petits geyser + 1 très grand (20m environ toutes les 5 minutes) + 1 qui était peu actif.
Possibilité de monter une cinquantaine de mètres pour admirer la vue sur les plaines, montagnes et geysers.
