Geysir site with impressive geothermal phenomena, with waters rising to a height of a few meters

The Geysir site is a geothermal zone famous for Strokkur, a geyser that spurts out on average every 5 minutes, its blue water rising to a height of 25-30 m. Next door is Geysir, from which the site takes its name, and which is now inactive, although it is exceptionally activated during major earthquakes. A little higher up are the communicating basins of Blesi, the "flame". Stay on the right side of the road! Don't miss the hike to the top of the site.

un geyser qui se propulse de 80 a 120 mètres toutes les 10 minutes, ça décoiffe !
un site a découvrir car il y a plusieurs geyser de différentes tailles mais également une boutique de souvenirs et des restaurant a proximité du site

Encore un lieu immanquable en Islande, ce geyser à la particularité de donner vie à un beau jet de 20 mètres de haut toutes les 10 minutes environs, avec un plus petit juste après.
Présence de quelques fumerolles dans les alentours.

Il y a très peu d'endroit au monde où il est possible d'observer des geysers pareil.
Dommage pour l'affluence de monde comme partout au cercle d'or (bus touristique à gogo !!)
