This natural history museum has two beautiful collections, one zoological with beautiful shells and animals living in Iceland, mammals but especially birds and fish. The other, geological, focuses on the different types of rocks present on the island. This museum has the status of the most important research center in Iceland. The entrance is free, and even if it is small, it is an interesting detour.
