For a hostel, this is a great place. Cool place, nice people, good pizza, good beer, parties in the weekends, clean bathrooms. I would go back if in Iceland.

Het is een hippe hostel met een grote ruimte om te chille maar dit hostel is gewoon smerig en versleten. De toiletten zijn vies en zorgden ervoor dat de hele gang naar een openbare badkamer rook. Het enige goede aan de hostel is de locatie, direct aan het water en gemakkelijk op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden.

Muy buen hotel, un poco dejado en algunas cosas, teníamos habitación privada con baño, en 5 días que estuvimos no la limpiaron nunca y eso no está bueno (era súper necesario barrer por lo menos), también nos pasó que el personal no nos dio indicaciones de nada, y no sabíamos donde había cocina, laundry ni secador, tuvimos que ir a preguntar y sentimos que nos contestaron como si fuera algo obvio todo, pero nadie nos había informado.
Sacando eso, la habitación era súper grande y una vista hermosa al mar.

Definitely the coolest place to spent the night and hang around in Reyjkiavik.

Les communs sont entretenus correctement malgré le nombre de voyageurs.

This boutique hostel exceeded all expectations with its captivating blend of industrial-chic interior design and quirky Viking-inspired elements. What an amazing view from out the windows. Location was a few minutes walk from center of town. The service was perfect.

Listen, this is a hostel. So please adjust your expectations to a hostel when I’m telling you this place is five stars.
Here’s why it deserves 5 stars:
- the beds are comfy. They’re full thickness mattresses and the pillows are a perfect level of fluff. The duvets are warm but not too warm, and there aren’t any bedsheet stains. The beds here are better than at HI hostels.
- the rooms are secure. There are locks on each room that only those with the room key can access, and there are lockers inside the room big enough for quite a lot of things. They’re full sized - picture school lockers. You do have to bring your own lock.
- the beds are private. There are dividers between the beds and curtains for the lower bunks.
- the hostel naturally fosters really cool social activity. Be sure that you’ll meet cool travellers and probably make a few new friends to go on adventures with.
- the staff were amazing. They were so helpful and good at problem solving. They are vigilant about washing the bedsheets as new travellers go through.
- there are lots of bathrooms with tons of hot water and good water pressure.
- the kitchens are well stocked and there is lots of shared fridge space. They provide labels for you to label your food. There are also lots of “free food” shelves if you’re looking for that!

Here are the downsides:
- it can be loud. Ear plugs are free at the front desk but if there’s a band playing you’ll hear it.
- the bathrooms do have mold in the grout.

Wonderful location!

The people are the best reason to stay at this hostel. They go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience and clean accomodation no matter what.

Auberge sympa, propre, ambiance pub, vintage. Bar où il est possible de commander des pizzas en soirée, pas mauvaises.

En face de l'auberge un fast-food type McDo, magasin Bonus à quelques minutes à pieds.

Hier sind tatsächlich nur die Lage und die Essensmöglichkeiten positiv.

Ich war hier 3 Nächte lang in einem 6er-Mehrbettzimmer und diese Erfahrung möchte ich wirklich nicht erneut haben. Die Betten QUIETSCHEN bei jeder Bewegung. Vielleicht denkst du gerade, dass das nicht so schlimm sei aber man kann NICHT schlafen dadurch, wirklich, glaubt mir, es bewegt sich immer jemand beim Schlafen. Deshalb war ich auch komplett schlaflos während meines gesamten Aufenthalts.

Weiterhin stinkt es unfassbar in den Stockwerken, ich weiß nicht, warum, aber es ist so.
Mein Essen im Kühlschrank wurde einfach gegessen, also die Leute hier waren auch teils komisch drauf.

Ich sag mal so, natürlich kriegt man das wofür man bezahlt, deshalb auch nicht nur ein Stern, aber das hier war wirklich nichts für mich. Mehr etwas für Personen, die auch ohne Schlaf auskommen und denen starke Gerüche und komische Personen nichts ausmachen.

I joined a friend for drinks after our food walk at this location and did not stay here and cannot comment on the rooms. She was staying here and another friend of mine had recommended this place for drinks and live music. The bar and drinks were fine, but we were just there to talk and hang out so the music was immaterial.

Prix abordable, bien situé, manque un petit peu de propreté pour être parfait.

This place is just amazing! It’s a hub of friendship in Reykjavik. I met lots of great people here and enjoyed watching ⚽️ too with some super fun people! There’s music, great drinks, games, and also it’s perfect meeting place to get picked up for some excursions. Thanks for a wonderful time and the friendliness.

Świetne koncerty np. hiphopu czy metalu islandzkiego -Emmsje Gauti czy Une Misere

This was my first hostel experience and I was pleasantly surprised! I was mainly concerned about sleeping and comfortability here, but the beds were actually sooo comfy and cozy. Bring an eye mask and ear plugs and you’re good to go!
Loved the rustic, vintage vibe of the whole place. Lively lobby with reception people there for you at all times. Perfect location right on the water. Great way to meet fun, young people or just simply have a place to sleep!

Only removing one star for the bathroom cleanliness. I did see the staff cleaning every day, but i could tell it’s been a while since the bathrooms have seen a *deep* clean. They all have a mildew smell and there is some residue growing in the shower grout. Bring flip flops too, the floors are always wet and very cold. But I do like that they have private bathrooms with their own showers!

The room with 30-something smelt like a dirty locker room. The people I met there were quite nice though and there was a good social atmosphere. So maybe if I had stayed in a smaller room I would have enjoyed my stay more. I was only there 1 night, and it worked as a cheap place to stay for a night.

The best experience ever! Fantastic place! Clean and comfy. Personnel is very friendly and always there for you 24/7.
Weekends at the hostel's bar/restaurant there's live music - amazing local bands, had a great discovery of new talents. .. The whole place is loud at the weekends, but you just let it be and enjoy! This is Reykjavík!! Definitely coming back!! ????????????

Auberge très bien situé et offrant un service hors pair. Les lieux sont aménagés et décorés avec beaucoup de style. Excellent déjeuné et belle ambiance nocturne (bar de l'auberge). Les chambres sont à un étage supérieur alors le bruit ne vous dérangera pas. J'y retournerais sans hésitation.
