This hotel is the best you'll find at this price. Set along the waterfront in a former cookie factory, the dormitories are extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bar/lounge/reception area is one of Reykjavik's most popular venues, hosting a wide variety of concerts in a great atmosphere. Retro 60s decor, hearty breakfast and unbelievable silence at night! A must! Please note: even in a private room, you'll have to use the shared bathroom facilities.

For a hostel, this is a great place. Cool place, nice people, good pizza, good beer, parties in the weekends, clean bathrooms. I would go back if in Iceland.

Het is een hippe hostel met een grote ruimte om te chille maar dit hostel is gewoon smerig en versleten. De toiletten zijn vies en zorgden ervoor dat de hele gang naar een openbare badkamer rook. Het enige goede aan de hostel is de locatie, direct aan het water en gemakkelijk op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden.

Muy buen hotel, un poco dejado en algunas cosas, teníamos habitación privada con baño, en 5 días que estuvimos no la limpiaron nunca y eso no está bueno (era súper necesario barrer por lo menos), también nos pasó que el personal no nos dio indicaciones de nada, y no sabíamos donde había cocina, laundry ni secador, tuvimos que ir a preguntar y sentimos que nos contestaron como si fuera algo obvio todo, pero nadie nos había informado.
Sacando eso, la habitación era súper grande y una vista hermosa al mar.
