Established in 1984, the hotel offers luxurious Scandinavian-style apartments, rooms and suites with panoramic views over Reykjavík. Absolutely fabulous hotel. Staff were amazing, so friendly could not have been nicer. Nothing was a problem. Breakfast was continental style with scrambled eggs ???? bacon ???? beans ???? plus cereal fruit platters, meat platters, and fresh local bread. Orange juice,apple juice available also. Fresh tea and coffee are also available. Rooms were very clean, nice size and lovely, and warm. Bathrooms were clean and fresh towels available every day if you required them. Soaps and body washes provided. Restaurant snaps onside and lovely also booking recommended for evenings. We were able to book taxis too and from the bus station also. All and all highly recommended for a great stay. Location is perfect 5 min walk to cathedral. 5 min walk to Rainbow Road and in any direction tourist attractions everywhere. Bus stop 14 or 6 was the closest to us as a drop-off point for tours. Will return to this hotel again credit to the staff for a lovely stay. ????????

Staff OK, hotel good location . Room warm good beds, however towel rail in bathroom above toilet and faulty so had to keep loo seat shut otherwise wet towels, only one mirror in bathroom which is hard work with two ladies no hooks any where to hang up coats if wet. Breakfast staff not so helpful had to clear your own table , food not always hot.

Abbiamo trovato subito l'hotel con le indicazioni di Google. Qui siamo stati accolti molto cordialmente e ci sono state date le indicazioni precise per raggiungere le camere che si trovano in un altro edificio all'inizio della Rainbow Street. Le camere sono ampie e pulite. Gli arredi ben tenuti e completi di quanto serve per un breve soggiorno. La posizione è perfetta

At present although paying premium prices lifts do not work and restaurant closed, and very make shift breakfast served. Communication and compensation to guest non existent.

Good hotel with decent rooms. A bit tricky with floors that have changing elevation when you’re getting your suitcases in and out. Didn’t appreciate the breakfast in the adjacent restaurant which was very simple considering the price but at least they had that as an option. We decided to eat our breakfast at other places in town. Service wasn’t really there. No help with suitcases or anything but I guess that service level is expected in Iceland. The fireplace in the reception wasn’t on and although it’s a very small thing it would have mate the atmosphere better.
