This 4-star hotel is a family affair, located in the city center but in the quiet of a residential area. This makes it an ideal location for a stroll to Lake Tjörnin or around town. Established in 1984, the hotel offers luxurious Scandinavian-style apartments, rooms and suites with panoramic views over Reykjavík. The Snaps restaurant offers French-inspired cuisine influenced by Scandinavian flavors. Excursions can be booked at reception, and pick-up service from the hotel is also available.

Hotel Óðinsvé has 50 rooms, including eight suites (quite comfortable), all recently renovated.we also offer 10 luxury apartments in two different locations; six apartments across the street at Tysgata 8 and four six apartments are located across the street at Tysgata 8, and four are located 200 meters down the hill at Skolavordustigurigur 7, Reykjavik's main shopping and event street. And if you feel like staying in the country, our lodge is available for booking. It is located near the Kerið crater, about 15 minutes drive from Selfoss, 30 minutes from Geysir (Golden Circle) and about an hour drive from Reykjavik. This upscale country house has a modern decor with three bedrooms that can accommodate 5 guests. A large terrace with a sitting area surrounds the lodge, with direct views of Búrfell Mountain.

I stayed here for 3 nights in room 306. Gawssh the best! I think what makes this hotel so memorable was Gunnar from the front desk. Everyone was delightful but Gunnar was the one I bonded with. He was just so delightful and fun. We got room 306 which had its own delightful little balcony! Golly. You can open it and on good nights catch the northern lights. We didn’t because the northern lights decided to hide when we were in town but hey, can’t control nature. :). Either way, Iceland is soooo beautiful. I didn’t need the northern lights to fall in love with Iceland. Gunnar and hotel odinsve just made my stay very comfortable and happy holiday! Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Odinsve! It was a quick easy walk to excursion pickups at bus stop 8, hallgrimskirkja, or to the rainbow road and all the shopping and eating that comes with downtown Reykjavik. Our room at Hotel Odinsve had a little kitchenette that we used to make breakfasts and a couple simple dinners. It helped us to save time and money, buying food at the Bonus grocery store (within walking distance) was FAR cheaper than eating out. Our room was in a building across the street from the hotel front desk. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. My only wish was that the room had a little coffee maker. I included a couple pictures of the view from our room.

Très bon accueil et bien situé ! Les chambres sont plutôt spacieuses et propres et le petit déjeuner très copieux ! Je vous le recommande si vous êtes de passage à Reykjavík !
