Located at the end of Tjörnin Lake and just steps from BSI bus station, this large house houses beautiful and spacious rooms. A warm atmosphere provided by the host family, which also manages two other addresses in Reykjavik, including apartments for 4 people. Possible bicycle rental and sauna on the ground floor.

You get what you pay for. Cheapest place in Reykjavik with good location. Rooms and bathrooms could definitely be cleaner. Kitchen is small, and there is basically no common area except for a table in the hallway. The man from Prague who works there is so friendly and helpful that it really improved my rating of the establishment though. They are planning improvements to the kitchen in the future, so I'd still recommend if you're on a tight budget.

Ein sehr schlichtes und einfaches Gasthaus.
Die Zimmer sind in unterschiedlichem Zustand. Unser erstes Zimmer hatte keinen Schrank, lediglich eine Kleiderstange, war dafür etwas größer. Das zweite Zimmer war vom Zustand besser, mit Schrank und saniertem Bad.
Zuteilung nach Zufallsprinzip, schätze ich.

Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist gut ausgestattet, wenn sich alle Gäste ein wenig mehr Mühe geben würden, wäre der Zustand wahrscheinlich erheblich besser.
Aber man kann sich verpflegen.

Der allgemeine Zustand ist sehr abgewohnt. Es gibt Parkplätze vor der Tür, aber es ist Glück einen zu erhaschen.

Ringsum derzeit alles Baustelle.

Самый простой отель. Чистый. Есть всё необходимое: кухня (где вы готовите из своих продуктов), душевые, туалеты. В номерах есть вешалки, маленькая раковина. На две кровати мы нашли только одну розетку чтоб заредить телефоны.

Very close to bus station. Paul is the reception manager or caretaker. Very nice gentleman. He helped us find the rooms and explained wheee to eat and buy food and also explained other attractions. Clean rooms. Only problem is there are work going on next door and it disturb you 7.00 on the morning. And
Busses stops in front of other hotel.
