The staff adapt to requests, and some rooms even offer a view of the Hallgrímskirkja. The rooms are perfectly appointed. Recommended for a romantic getaway or if you need a peaceful haven in the city.

We were very pleased with this hotel, a great view of Hallgrimskirkja (looks fantastic at night when lit up) from the room we was provided, very clean, pleasant and friendly staff overall a good atmosphere. The hotel is located to all the good resturants and bars, and just a short walk to the sea front. I work occasionally in Iceland and will be staying here again in the future.

Very good and cheap hotel at the center of Reykjavik. The rooms are very big and clean.

Charming boutique hotel, though rooms are somewhat compact and lack adequate storage for larger winter clothing. Rooms could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and the option to provide guests with double duvets for double beds instead of two single ones.

The receptionist, Jose, was absolutely exceptional and truly enhanced our stay.

Hotel Von is located close to Rainbow Street, but it's far enough, so you're not hearing the noises on the street. It's also close to Bus Stop 8, which is one of the approved pickup locations for tours.

There is also a receptionist, who is very helpful!

I had a room that had a scenery of the snowy mountains, which amazed me on my first day.
