The only private tower in Verona, the highest in the city.
Built between the 12th and 15th centuries, this tower, which belongs to the Palazzo del Comune, is the highest in the city (84 meters). The only private tower in Verona, it was built by the powerful Lamberti family. Its top houses two bells, named Rengo and Marangona. In the past, two bell ringers lived here. At the same time, they were prison guards, as the building was often used as a dungeon for convicts. The view of Verona from the top is breathtaking. You can climb the stairs or the elevator.

Ideal to see Verona from above. Possible access lift until two-thirds of the tower, price: €4.50. Remain a hundred steps metal and comforting. The view is superb.
