SYNAGOGUE (ŽIDOVSKÁ SYNAGÓGA)

Qualified as one of the most beautiful synagogues in Central Europe, she is no longer active since the extermination of the Jews from Slovakia during the Second World War. Built in 1846, it was damaged by flames in 1878 and 1904. Renovated in 1906, it presents a mosaic of classical style with Art Nouveau elements. Outside the summer of sightseeing is possible, it is necessary to make an appointment by phone.
