LIPTOV MUSEUM (ČIERNY OROL MÚZEUM)

This historic building is located on the site of a former coaching inn, already mentioned in the ^17th century, it was later a hotel establishment named Čierny orol, meaning "black eagle". Partially preserved until the 1970s, it then served as a center of cultural life and today houses a museum devoted to the history of hunting, fishing, fauna and flora in the Liptov region from the Middle Ages to the present day.
