The neo-Gothic synagogue in Žilina was built in the first half of the 20th century. It is considered to be one of the most outstanding monuments of functionalist architecture of the interwar period. Today it is managed by the civic association Truc sphérique, which was established here on the site. In addition to exhibitions, the synagogue also organizes concerts, symposiums and children's shows. Check out their website for the program, you are bound to find something you like.

Lieu incontournable à visiter
La synagogue est un lieu à ne pas manquer à Zilina. Ce bâtiment hérite d'une histoire riche et intéressante à revivre lors d'une visite de la ville. Le personnel ne manquera pas de vous guider en anglais et de vous raconter son histoire avec plaisir. Beaucoup d'événements y sont organisés, comme des concerts ou des expositions. Et pour visiter le bâtiment, il ne faut pas payer, juste demander à l'entrée qu'on vous en fasse la visite. Alors n'hésitez pas :)
