The Botanical Garden of Comenius University is the only one in the Slovak capital. It is located in the Karlova Ves district, next to the old town district and the Lafranconi bridge, on the banks of the river. It covers an area of 5.5 hectares and displays more than 120 plant species: roses, trees, tropical flowers, palm trees, orchids and cacti. The space is divided into an external area and an internal area with a greenhouse.
