FRANCISCAN CHURCH AND MONASTERY

Consecrated in 1297, this Gothic church with one nave is one of the oldest in the city. Rebuilt several times, it still has a baroque facade. During the coronation of the Hungarian kings in the Cathedral of St. Martin, the knights of the Golden Spur were honoured in this church in gratitude for their service to the crown.
