KINO LUMIÈRE

The former Charlies Center cinema - now the Cinéma Lumière - offers the public alternative national, world and European productions. The cinema is operated by the Slovak Film Institute. The films are screened in four theatres. It can be considered as the "art and essay" cinema of Bratislava. All films are screened in their original version and the programme features films from all over the world in completely redesigned interiors. In addition, the cinema has a café and hosts various festivals and thematic evenings.
