A simple frame of a large bay with sea view. All the time, this cheap restaurant for the city serves hearty servings. Tourist, it is also frequented by the locals. His pizzas have long made his reputation. The situation of Da Giorgio, right next to the bus station and not far from the funicular, makes it the ideal place to eat just after having landed at the port.

This restaurant was the best I have been to out of Sorrento, Positano, and Capri. Do not listen to the entitled reviews mentioning the service or charge. The food was so exceptional we were licking the plates clean. We had the mussel and clam pasta and the crazy sauce fish. Both very light and filling at the same time. The view was amazing even if we didn’t sit at the window.

We were so excited to try this restaurant and am so disappointed at the horrible service we encountered. I booked a reservation 3 months prior to our arrival, arrived early to the reservation and then were treated so terribly. The owner (hope it’s not) or manager of the hotel was so extremely rude to us upon our arrival. We have never ever done this but we ended up leaving our seats at the restaurant because we were so appalled by his attitude. Do NOT go to this restaurant unless they perceive you as “special” because you will not receive good service or be treated fairly. We went right down the street and found a restaurant that gladly seated us with open arms. Extremely disappointing- avoid.

Nu am stat la hotel. Doar am servit masa de prânz în restaurant. Personalul foarte amabil. Nu am așteptat mult sa ne aducă mâncarea. Mâncarea a fost foarte bună. Recomand!

I am reviewing the restaurant. Apart from the prices which are similar to otver places, the service is delivered by a grumpy waiter. It is called a panoramic restaurant and on asking a table by the window which was available, he said that if we did not hace a reservation then no.
He then refused people in saying service was finished (it was 1400) and then got more people in, stull sitting them in the middle of the restaurant instead of by the windows.
How can one be in the hospitality industry and have that attitude.
1 star from me. You're expensive for the location, but the service should accompany the price.
