Located in the beautiful square of San Domenico Maggiore, this coffee/pastry shop will delight you. Indeed, Scaturchio, is an old pasticceria, famous in Naples, where prices have remained cheap. Try the Neapolitan specialities such as sfogliatella, to choose riccia (shell-shaped, puff pastry-based) or frolla (shortcrust pastry-based). The pastiera, a cake traditionally served at Easter, is excellent, as is the famous babà, plain or with custard. Take advantage of the terrace on sunny days.

LA pâtisserie de Naples. Beaucoup de monde mais il faut absolument faire la queue pour gouter le sfogliatello (sorte de viennoiserie au feuilletage ingénieux et très léger, fourrée avec une crème parfumée à base de ricotta) ici proposé en différentes versions et tailles... Pas de table, il faut donc déguster debout sur place ou dans la rue.
