In this old pastry shop, you can enjoy a sfogliatella on the terrace in one of the most beautiful squares of Naples.
Located in the beautiful square of San Domenico Maggiore, this coffee/pastry shop will delight you. Indeed, Scaturchio, is an old pasticceria, famous in Naples, where prices have remained cheap. Try the Neapolitan specialities such as sfogliatella, to choose riccia (shell-shaped, puff pastry-based) or frolla (shortcrust pastry-based). The pastiera, a cake traditionally served at Easter, is excellent, as is the famous babà, plain or with custard. Take advantage of the terrace on sunny days.

C'est un lieu incontournable ! Déguster un baba (bon marché) sur l'agréable place San Domenico Maggiore, est un plaisir incomparable (à moins de craquer pour un ministeriale)

Very famous patisserie that now is a bit down in quality and reputation. In fact they went on bankrupt on 2010 and there was some new owner. My pastiera was ok but not excellent

Une de meullieurs patisseries à Naples pour gouter les sfogliatellas ou la pastiera. En été j'ai pris mon petit déjuner dans la place devant la patisserie. A ne pas manquer! Sfogliatellas et pastieras aussi a emporter, à bon prix.

Excellente pâtisserie, il faut goûter les brioches et surtout les sfogliatelle !
