In Naples, the magic of Christmas takes place, with illuminations, small markets and the traditional handicraft of the Christmas cribs.
The city of Naples at Christmas time is bathed in a unique atmosphere. Several events are organized: concerts in churches, exhibitions, visual art festival with illuminations (LUMINARIA) and also street shows. A Christmas market is held in the Spaccanapoli district. Not forgetting the "street of the Nativity", via San Gregorio Armeno, with its shops celebrating the art of santon making, where all the Neapolitans meet to admire and choose the figurines that will decorate their Christmas crib(presepio).

The NURSERIES ARE SPECIAL, nothing to do with our nurseries of Provence! they are imposing, the houses with the windows, the toddler who cries... a wise and the Holy Family! my neighbour has marseille is Neapolitan and every year rebuilt the nursery to Naples then gives it! (in Naples it burnt each year) and in a historical importance Christmas one another!
