This small museum is part of the museum complex of the Tretyakov Gallery. It is located in the former home of A.M. Vasnetsov (1856 - 1933), a very active person known for his landscape paintings, as well as his scientific activity and his work as a historian of the city of Moscow. Here he lived the last 30 years of his life, at the turn of the century, between the end of the imperial era and the beginning of the Soviet era. His apartment succeeds well in conveying this experience.
